SUCCESSFUL CHARITY AUCTION IN GENEVA

The charity auction planned by Leo Trippi with the support of Antiquorum was a great success, with pledges for the exceptional holiday packages that were presented attaining CHF 420,000. All the benefits will go to the Swiss association François-Xavier Bagnoud International, which has been fighting poverty and AIDS for 20 years.
Conducted by Antiquorum, the world’s premier watch auctioneer, this unique event was held yesterday at the MAMCO Museum in Geneva. The lots offered at auction were a selection of first-class holiday packages in some of the most beautiful properties in the world, made available by Leo Trippi and the property owners. Guests attending the gala dinner were able to bid for these exclusive holidays while bidders from around the world joined live over the Internet or via telephone.

The amount collected will allow the François - Xavier Bagnoud International Association to support programs in 18 countries for the benefit of the vulnerable and the needy.

Through its prevention and awareness campaigns, the FXB International Association aims at alleviating the effects of poverty and AIDS on children and their families. These community development programs help families to escape poverty in a sustainable manner. The “FXB Villages” help a network of 80 to 100 families attain economic and social autonomy over a period of 3 years.
