A Tribute to Dr. Nicolas G. Hayek
Antiquorum Auctioneers offers our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Nicolas G. Hayek. He was a true visionary responsible for saving the Swiss watch industry. An innovator, without whom the world of haute horlogerie would not exist today. In 2007, Antiquorum had the pleasure of collaborating with him on Omegamania, the world tour and historic auction of exceptional Omega timepieces. It was an honor to have worked with such an extraordinary man. We will miss him dearly. His death is an immeasurable loss to the industry. May he rest in peace.
