If you decide to sell your property through Antiquorum, a contract will be drawn up which describes the lot(s), establishes reserve(s), and sets forth terms and fees for the services we provide. The reserve is the minimum price the seller will realize (less seller’s commission and fees). The reserve is determined by mutual agreement between the seller and Antiquorum.
For items sold in our auction, each seller will receive a complimentary copy of our auction catalog approximately 2 weeks before the sale. Sellers will also receive a statement indicating the lot number(s) and reserve(s) of their property included in the sale.
Shortly after the sale, sellers will receive a “list of sale” – a notification of the outcome of the sale of their property, indicating the lot number(s) and hammer price(s) for each.
A separate vendor statement adjusted for sellers’ commission and fees will follow 2-3 weeks later.
Payment will be sent to sellers approximately 45 days from the day of the sale, provided that the lot(s) have been settled by the buyer(s).
